Maini Decking
System

A decking system is a set of components designed to create an elevated platform or outdoor living space for residential or commercial buildings. The Maini Decking System stands great as it can be carried out in one day and it uses light weight components.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

With the Maini decking drophead system, striking can be carried out after only one day (depending on the slab thickness and strength of the concrete). The drophead is released with a hammer blow, which causes the formwork to drop 60 mm (panels and main beams). The panels can be separated easily from the concrete and immediately used for the next cycle. Furthermore, on-site material requirements are reduced. The Maini main beam reduces the number of props needed; only one prop is required per slab area of 3.45 m² for thicknesses up to 40 cm. This saves time and simplifies the transportation of formwork materials across the site.

Maini decking panels as well as main beams are equipped with self-draining edges. The edges of the panels are undercut, which ensures cleaning is kept to a minimum, resulting in shorter shuttering times.

The Maini decking system guarantees a straight support line at the end of the formwork. With system parts, these infill areas can be quickly formed with system components.

Systematic assembly and a high degree of safety for standard bays as well as the slab edge are achieved using decking platforms. The Maini Decking System 375 mm main beam provides a cantilever of approximately 1.30 m. The approved decking platform, together with a foldable handrail frame, is safely positioned by means of the MSH shuttering aid. The decking platform has a safe working load of 150 kg/m².

MAINI DECKING SYSTEM
  • Maini Software is a special in-house-designed software that provides a 3D platform for working. This software is the perfect solution for fast, professional planning of Maini formwork and scaffolding systems.
  • From a simple basement to a complicated industrial building, from walls and slab formwork to platform systems and scaffolding, the most diverse problems are solved with the Maini software.
  • Maini programmes are continually adjusted to suit product development and are also used by Maini sales and design engineers. This ensures that the systems and their guidelines are always up-to-date.
  • Precise item lists ensure that costs arise only for material volumes you actually need. Formwork material is scheduled correctly for the project and is deployed and operated at full capacity as far as possible.
  • Complicated areas are already recognised and dealt with in the planning phase. The construction site is supplied with the materials it actually needs, which optimises logistical expenditure. Simple plans lead to notable time savings. Each component, without detour, connects directly to the right position.
BENEFITS
Early striking

The decking is equipped with a drophead. Early striking is possible after only one day (depending on the slab thickness and concrete strength). On-site material requirements can be reduced as the beams and panels are then available for the next concrete cycle. Work can be arranged more flexibly—for instance, by striking early during periods of poor weather.

Lightweight components

Decking system components are made of aluminium. No component weighs more than 15 kg. Thanks to the low individual weights, the decking system enables easy and tireless erection and striking.

Easy to clean

The Maini Decking System minimises cleaning costs: The main beam, complete with plastic rack, lies protected under the panels; cleaning the girder side is not required. Parts have self-draining edges and are powder-coated.

Fewer slab props

Maini Decking System: The main beam reduces the number of props. Only 0.29 props per square metre of slab is required. Fewer props save time and leave more space during forming, as well as for the transportation of formwork materials.
